Scribe's Cave Picture Prompt: The Winner

The announcer was sweating as his words spattered against the grill of his microphone. "Ladies and gentleman," he intoned as he wiped his brow with a crisp white handkerchief and blinked under the bright lights, "our three contestants have been in the hot boxes since a week last Wednesday. They completed the first three Universal Ironman contests and are here for the fourth and final challenge. Not only will the winner come away with the title of Universal Ironman and be recognized for beating out the most stubborn beings in this sector, but he will also have 5,000 food credits added to his account for the next three years and will be included in the Guinness Book of Records." He paused to take a sip of water and looked at the men apologetically. "See the nurse there, wiping sweat from the neck area of Mr. Jones' box." He stepped to the left and continued, "Mr. Smith is a fan favorite -- notice his strong expression." He paused and lowered his voice before taking another small step to the left. "Those of you rooting for Mr. Brown still have three hours to adjust your bets. He seems to be melting."
